Combining the agility of a motorbike with the safety of a car, the i1 Concept aims at virtually completing the BMW “i” range with a compact single-seater commuter, in a trend already followed by Audi and VW with their Urban Concept and NILS Concept.
The three-wheeler concept features two front wheels that lean when cornering thanks to a hydraulic system combined with an onboard computer which adjusts the tilt of the wheels depending on the vehicle speed.
