It was only a matter of time until Fiat launched a Gucci edition of its latest 2012 500 Cabrio, or 500C as it’s known elsewhere. Back in March we saw the 500 by Gucci make its debut at the 2011 Geneva Motor Show and now just one month out from the 2011 Frankfurt Auto Show, Fiat has unveiled the new 500C by Gucci, which is about to embark on a European tour.

The exclusive Fiat 500 by Gucci models feature several exclusive design elements that highlight the Fiat 500's iconic silhouette. A signature Gucci green/red/green web stripe runs along the entire bodyside perimeter on the Fiat 500 by Gucci, or across the length of the power-retractable cloth top on the Fiat 500c by Gucci model.

It’s a fashionista car but quite tongue-in-cheek and with lots of charm: just like Barbie® herself. The gleaming paintwork resembles varnish and definitely makes for a shock effect, achieved with deep lacquered colour using ultra fine aluminium plunged in deep, up-to-the-minute pink. The seating is upholstered in strikingly soft fabrics: silver laminated Alcantara® is not only trendy but plush to the touch and its glimmer bounces as far as the roof panel.

Inspired by neo-classical black-and-white films, the Fiat 500 and 500c by Gucci models are finished in eye-catching pearl-gloss paint. The Black model, with detailing in polished chrome paired with an interior that contrasts sharp black against white, presents a contemporary and racy attitude. The White model, with satin chrome detailing and an ivory and black interior palette, offers a softer, sophisticated look. Both models feature signature Gucci details including, chromed cursive Gucci exterior badges, interlocking "GG" hubcaps, two-toned seats with Guccissima print and unmistakable Gucci green/red/green web striped seat belts.

The 2011 Fiat Bravo is a perfect blend of beauty and substance, a harmonious combination of elements, creating a car of classic elegance yet futuristic design. Fiat’s successful mid-range Bravo models have been provided to the Energy Saving Trust as training cars for the eco-friendly advice organisation’s Smarter Driving courses.

This Limited Edition - 100 numbered units - will be featuring in an original initiative ahead of the official launch of the 500 on September 15. Everyone who places an order for a Fiat 500 from July 12 to September 15 will take part in a final draw entitling them to replace the car they ordered with a Fiat 500 "First Edition".

After examining the huge outpour on its dedicated Fiat Mio website, the auto maker has designed a concept urban vehicle based on popular aspirations. Dubbed as the Fiat Mio concept, the single volume box shape car wears a sleek and futuristic well suited for urban travel. Adorning an uncluttered appearance, the vehicle has large glass windows and roof with the headlights camouflaged within the black glossy panel.
