TERRA NOVA CHRONOMETER WATCH
In 2013, the polar explorer Mr Ben Saunders and his team mate Mr Tarka L'Herpiniere walked from the north shore of Ross Island in Antarctica to the South Pole, and then back again. This record-breaking 1,795-mile trek was aided by the Bremont 'Terra Nova Chronometer' - the style both men wore for the duration of their journey. As the conditions were too extreme for any type of battery operated device, the light titanium Supermarine with its GMT functionality and specially oiled mechanical movement became indispensable. A limited edition, this fine piece is set to go down in horological history.
