For the first time, the Lexus ES will be available with Lexus Hybrid Drive. Featuring a 2.5-liter four-cylinder Atkinson cycle engine, the Lexus ES 300h hybrid is expected to earn an EPA fuel economy rating of approximately 40 mpg combined city/highway.

To truly bring the fight to the BMW 5-Series and Mercedes-Benz E-Class, the 2013 Lexus GS will have to deliver on performance, style, comfort, and, for many, efficiency. In Europe, at least, that means an available four-cylinder diesel. According to the latest reports, Lexus is planning to do just that.

Lexus is recalling 2011 RX 350s that were built between August 30, 2010 and May 18, 2011 and have Vehicle Dynamics Integrated Management (VDIM).

2011 Lexus LS 460 has a 4.6 liter V8 engine with 380 horsepower, along with 370 foot-pounds of torque. This vehicle has superior handling and accelerate to 60 miles per hour in just 5.5 seconds. This vehicle has a 8 speed automatic transmission.

As for the styling, Lexus calls its new fascia a “spindle grille” and it’s set to infect the rest of the line-up in the coming years. It’s a more subtle interpretation of the GS concept’s nose, and although it’s certainly toned-down, it’s sure to be divisive. The rear opens up to provide 25 percent more luggage room and we’re seeing a whole lotta Sonata in the taillight treatment and sloping trunk.
