Set to debut at the upcoming Tokyo Motor Show (3-11 December 2011), the Mazda Takeri will se the application of the company’s KODO – Soul of Motion design language as well as of the recently introduced SKYACTIV technology. The Takeri is powered by a new SKYACTIV-D diesel engine with idling stop system (i-stop). Among the technical highlights are new lightweight, aerodynamic and chassis technologies and a regenerative braking system that sotres converted energy in capacitors and uses it to power the vehicleâ’s electric equipment.
